R Meyer
Songwriter and artist. born Rune Meyer on June 4, 1968 in Myre, Vesteraalen, Norway. As a child raised in north of Norway, Meyer inherited a passion for American country music from his parents. Already as a teenager, the artist had performed on several arrangements around in his region. When he was 15 he joined his first country band. The following years should become crucial in shaping the music sound and style he has today. In 1990, he contributed in his first album which was a success and ended up on the Norwegian top ten for some weeks.

After playing in different bands around in Norway some years, he decided to pursue a solo career and stake 100% on the music. Having the ballast from all these years on the road he felt that the time was ready for going further.

In 2006 he released his first solo album “ME”. With a magnificent mix of both slow and fast Country/Rock songs presented in a sensitive and experienced way R Meyer wishes to spread his music to as many people and countries as possible.
